Baldur's Gate 3: All Genital Options By Race (2024)

Baldur's Gate 3 might genuinely surprise you with its adult themes, if you only picked up the game because you are interested in fantasy RPG's (if you're looking for more fantasy RPG's, check out the next best fantasy RPG releasing after BG3).

If you picked up Baldur's Gate 3 because you enjoy playing Dungeons & Dragons and you wanted a digital simulation of your favorite TTRPG, then the adult themed game features probably didn't surprise you one bit. Should this apply to you, then you probably weren't surprised to find out that you can pick between multiple different genital options, with even more options depending on your race, in Baldur's Gate 3.

Luckily, if you aren't a fan of nudity in games, Larian Studios have provided the opportunity to turn off nudity entirely, if you don't want to experience this kind of gameplay. If you're more thirsty than that, and a fan of adult themed content in Baldur's Gate 3, then you probably can't wait to read more about your genital options in the game.

Pick Your Own Genitals In Baldur's Gate 3

Players can pick their character's genitals and pubic hair from a range of different styles in Baldur's Gate 3. You aren't allowed to choose the size of your genitals, but you do at least get to choose the shape. Congrats!

If you were wondering, why the devs chose to add this to the game, Kotaku explained it in their interview with lead designer Alena Dubrovina:

You can choose between a penis or a vagin*, as well as pubic hair options. According to Dubrovina, the decision to add this option didn’t stem from the inclusion of sex scenes in romance subplots, but rather because the team decided to make underwear a piece of equipment you would obtain throughout the game, customize, and wear. She explained that underwear is an extension of the character customization as a form of in-universe expression.

“The question arose, ‘what happens when you take it off?’” she said. “At first we were like, ‘you know, maybe nothing’s gonna happen. Maybe we’re gonna have another underwear mesh under it. Who cares? But then I started thinking about it, talking about it, and we realized that for some players, it’s just another way to represent their identity.”
